Kentaro Sakakibara

Kentaro Sakakibara is the founder and CEO. His venture supporting career began in 2000 at VOYAGE GROUP, formerly Axiv.com. He held a variety of positions, including the foundation of a sales department, the development of marketing and promotional strategy, and product development in the initial stages of Axiv.com. Prior to founding Samurai Incubate, Kentaro was also responsible for marketing strategies for a telecommunication company and a beverage company. After restructuring the sales department and founding a branch at Axiv.com, Kentaro founded Samurai Incubate in 2008. Currently, four Samurai Incubate Funds are managed by Samurai Incubate, and he assumes the responsibility of the funds, and has invested in more than 70 companies, as well as serving on the Board of Directors.

Hayato Ikegami

Hayato Ikegami is a Co-founder/COO.He specializes in team management. Prior to joining the Samurai Incubate, Hayato held a position inVOYAGE GROUP, formerly EC Navi, where he managed several research teams as a supervisor. He has been with Samurai Incubate since its inception in 2008. Hayato also worked for Where2.0 as a manager, where his main duties were strategy and operation. Where2.0 was originated by Samurai Incubate and later sold to another company. Hayato then devoted his full attention to Samurai Incubate. Hayato’s greatest contribution has been in the area of human relations. He has a talent for making his coworkers recognize their own value. Because of that trait, he is successful at motivating people, managing business operations and personnel strategy.

Ryo Tamaki

Ryo Tamaki is a finance strategic manager and a certified public accountant.He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers Aarata, where he was an auditor for domestic-listed companies and several foreign companies. After that , he has experienced turn-around consulting, M&A advisory services and his own accounting firm's management.In 2013, Ryo joined Samurai Incubate as a manager of financing. His main responsibility is focusing on deals related to financing, fundraising, and capital policy for portfolio companies as well as Samurai Incubate.He is a CPA, with a degree from Kyoto University.

Yony Golan

Yony Golan is the Head of Operations of Samurai House in Israel and the official representative of Samurai Incubate in Israel. He specializes in finance and marketing strategy with great knowledge on startup ecosystems. Prior to joining Samurai Incubate, Yony held a position in Bank Leumi, 2nd biggest bank in Israel, where he managed portfolio of more then 200 million$ of debt including Hi-Tech industry customers and was responsible of executing verity of deals like M&A/venture lending etc. Yony also lived in Japan for 3 years where he was educated about Japanese language and Japanese culture, during his stay in Japan, Yony worked as an English teacher and help Japanese business men with their initiatives to go global. Prior to living in Japan, Yony worked in Shopping.com as a testing manger, Shopping.com went to IPO in October 2004 and was acquired by eBay in June 2005.Yony has great cultural and Interpersonal skills and brings to Samurai his experience & ability to manage and mentor others with an innovative approach that encourages and enables attainment/exceeding of imposed goals and objectives, a collaborative team approach and the desire to succeed.

Mariko Yazawa

Mariko Yazawa is an incubate associate.She worked for Fenox Venture Capital located in Silicon Valley California, where she was responsible for fundraising, deal sourcing, and due diligence work for startup companies on global basis. Before she began her career in the venture capital, Mariko was a consultant and database engineer at Brainchild, which provides BI and ERP software. She was responsible for analyzing statistic data with logistic regression and developing a model of credit risk management for a consumer loan company. With her background, Mariko worked for Experian Japan, a leading global information service company, and covered its operation and management of a system development. Mariko graduated from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh with a Criminal Justice degree.

Ai Abe

Ai Abe is a technology senior associate at Samurai Incubate.She worked for New Network System Inc. as a system engineer for several projects. She has more than 10 years of system development experience. Bringing that knowledge and experience, Ai joined Where2.0 and played a major role in building software to improve the efficiency of its business operations as a strategic technology manager. She developed a core system in Where 2.0 which demonstrates her acute technology skills. Ai is also well-versed in the language of computers, including assembly, DTP, and online editor. After the exit of Where 2.0, she returned to Samurai Incubate and assumed responsibilities in information technology overall as a strategic technology manager. She also enhances the development of the website for "Bouque.me", servings as a system advisor.

Sachiko Misui

Sachiko Misui is a community manager of Samurai Startup Island. She had previously been the work of office work and accounting , and office work of the business. In addition, she was also that had done the inquiries of the broadcasting business. She joined samurai incubated in 2015.

Yoshiyuki Togashi

Yoshiyuki Togashi is a project manager. In charge of creating opportunity to lead Japanese giant company and a start-up in a hackathon and accelerator, and try for the problem solution in both companies.So far he worked at Yamagata product company, a web media company, and a advertising agency. In the advertising agency, including various promotions, engaged in a wide range of business such as TVPR, design, and production. In 2016, he joined Samurai Incubate. Niigata University Bachelor of Economics.

Takuma Terakubo

Takuma Terakubo is an event organizer.He started his carrer as an intern and assumes responsibility for planning and operating Samurai Startup Island meet-up events with Shota. Prior to joining Samurai Incubate, he gained experience concerning the structure and business model of micro finance services in Grameen Bank, Bangladesh, and engaged himself in studies of methods used by foreign companies aimed at expanding their social business in field work. He is in charge of a CSR project that has continually contributed 1% of the company’s profits to orphan asylums and Non-Profit Organization. Takuma is currently pursuing his education at Tokyo Keizai University

Shunsuke Matsubara

Shunsuke Matsubara is an event organizer.He is in charge of planning and management of events at Samurai Startup Island. After graduated from Meiji university, he joined Samurai Incubate as a new graduate in 2016.

Yuko Osakaya

Yuko Osakaya is an accounting staff. Yuko undertook an accounting position in Samurai Incubate after leaving her previous job to give birth to her child. Prior to joining Samurai Incubate, she gained experience in various audit responsibilities for domestic companies in Ernst & Young.

Risa Kawamura

Risa Kawamura is in charge of human resorce management. Risa has worked for several industries, including the wedding industry, advertising, and real estate, after graduating from a high school in Kanagawa Prefecture. She has been working for Samurai Incubate while also carrying on the busy task of bringing up her children. She enjoys her work environment, which allows her be at home and care for her children.

Natsuki Adachi

Natsuki Adachi is a director of system development and spent 7 years designing and developing various business systems as SE. She joined Samurai incubate in 2016 while working flexibly for taking care of her child. Computer Science from Tokyo University of Technology.

Shirley Binder

Shirley Binder joined Samurai Incubate Inc. as Legal and Business Manager and she is based in Samurai House in Israel. Prior to joining Samurai Incubate Inc., Shirley worked in Stier Group Ltd., a company that specializes in planning, producing, marketing and managing trade shows and professional conferences in Israel. Shirley also worked as an intern at Naschitz, Brandes, Amir Law firm, which is one of the leading law firms in Israel. Shirley has a bachelor degree in law (LL.B) and she is a certified lawyer and a member of the Israeli Bar Association.

Takayasu Kiso

Takayasu Kiso is an event organizer. He's in charge of the project to promote collaboration between startups and the government. Takayasu is a student at Meiji University, majoring in CIS (communication, information and society) .

Miho Sakurazawa

Miho Sakurazawa is a Sakigake G associate. She is in charge of SNS operation. Miho is a student at Aoyama Gakuin University, majoring in English communication. To put knowledge to practical use, she has studied abroad to University of Oregon in 2015, majoring in Business Administration and Economics.

Tomoko Goto

Tomoko Goto is an event organizer. She is in charge of planning and management of events at Samurai Startup Island. She belonged to her university's swim team as a player until this September, and then, she started to work as a intern because she was interested in Israel, samurai incubete's event and more. Tomoko is a student at Toyo university, majoring in Infomation Technology and psychology.

Takumi Takahashi

Takumi Takahashi is hackathon organizer and event organizer.Through the planning and operation of Hackathon and Samurai Startup Island events, we strive to create opportunities to connect startup companies and large companies.He is a student at Chuo University, majoring in law.

Kyoko Katsumi

Kyoko Katsumi is a community manager of Samurai Startup Island. She experienced the back office in the startup company after engagement for establishment of a business support and the administration of incubation facilities. She joined samurai incubated in 2016.

Taichi Matsuoka

Taichi Matsuoka runs the media “SAKIGAKE”, which offers information about notable startups and latest technologies around the world. Taichi Matsuoka is a student at The University of Tokyo, majoring in law and politics. He joined Samurai Incubate Inc. in 2016.

Tetsutaro Inoue

Tetsutaro Inoue is a member of SAKIGAKE project. He had worked at some startup companies when he was a university student. After he graduated university, he worked at Japan Finance Corporation and lent money to startup companies and small-size companies. After he worked at the company for 3 years, he went to San Francisco/Silicon Valle and worked at btrax, which is a global marketing company, as a CEO assistant. Waseda University Bachelor of Commerce.
